KIDS BOXING PROGRAM

Give your kids the gift of confidence! We have developed a program exclusive for kids aged 7 to 13 years in the Redcliffe area. Our kids boxing program will teach them self-confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline and more, all while having fun and staying fit and healthy.

Developed by Chris Blackie, a former NZ boxer with 21 fights under his belt, in conjunction with MMA coach, professional fighter and former secondary school teacher Aaron Blackie, our kids curriculum is on a 10 week rotation with detailed lesson plans to ensure we always stay on track and your child is always progressing.

FAQS

WHAT TO EXPECT

Kids boxing classes are focused on key movements, self defence techniques, conditioning and resilience building. We implement these key pillars through games, live training and technique drilling!

Our coaches strive to ensure 100% safety at all times. However, accidents can happen and there is bound to be some bumps and bruises along the way.

Children are partnered up for live techniques according to size, strength and skill levels to minimise chance of injury.

Periodically, children will practice what they have been taught in light sparring drills. This may involve light contact to the head and body (with the use of protective headgear), or punches only to the shoulder region and below.

Wear a shirt and shorts with no zips/pockets and bring a water bottle. After your first class you will need to buy a pair of certified appropriate size boxing gloves, which we have available at a discounted price.
